1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store plain-text passwords.

Usage data. We record how many conversions you perform per day in order to enforce free-tier limits and provide Pro-plan access. We do not store the content you paste into the converter beyond the duration of a single request.

Payment information. If you upgrade to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Log data. Our servers automatically log standard information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This data is used solely for security monitoring and aggregate analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To enforce daily usage limits and subscription entitlements.
• To process payments and send receipts via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (e.g. password reset, subscription confirmation). We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Service.
• To improve the Service using aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.

3. Content You Submit

Text you paste into the converter is sent to OpenAI's API to generate your output. It is not stored on our servers after the response is returned. Please review OpenAI's privacy policy for details on how they handle API inputs.

We do not claim ownership of any content you submit. You retain all rights to your input and output text.

4. Cookies

We use session cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.

5. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI — AI content generation. OpenAI Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. Data Retention

Account data (email, usage records, subscription status) is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance (e.g. Stripe transaction records).

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights please contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, hashed credentials, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
